"Decent site, but they make it harder than it needs to be"
I used onlinemetals.com to look up some aluminum pieces, it mostly did what I needed. The search worked fine, and I was able to find the sizes I was looking for without too much hassle. That said, some of the pages loaded slower than I expected, and their filtering setup started getting confusing the longer I used it. The cart was okay too, but they definitely could’ve made it clearer from the start. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t exactly smooth either. I’d probably use it again if I already knew exactly what I needed, but I feel like the site makes browsing more frustrating than it has to be.

"Easy checkout, but still a bit annoying"
The site was simple to use and checkout went fine, so that part was easy enough. It only took me a few minutes, which I appreciated. Still, I wish there was a little more clarity along the way because it felt a bit vague in spots, and that kind of thing gets annoying. Not a huge issue, just annoying when you’re trying to get through it quickly.

"Literally arrived faster than I thought"
I ordered some metal stock and it literally showed up sooner than I was expecting. The packaging was totally fine and everything came in good shape. I’m not giving it 5 stars only because the tracking took a little while to update, but the shipping speed was solid overall

The product arrived fine, so no complaints there. In my experience, though, the communication felt a bit lacking. I found myself checking my account a few times just to see what was going on, and the shipping update came later than I would’ve liked. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I personally would’ve appreciated being kept in the loop a little more...

"Pretty Handy for Odd Sizes"
I use Online Metals whenever I need some weird or Odd sizes that I can’t easily find elsewhere. Most of the time they’ve got what I need in stock, which is nice. I did have one item end up backordered once, but aside from that my orders have Shipped without any real issues. Prices are decent, not Amazing but fair enough. Overall it’s a useful site, I just wish the stock updates were a little clearer sometimes.

I had a question about my order the other day, I think it was while I was making coffee and checking my email, and customer service got back to me quickly. It wasn’t absolutely perfect or anything, but they did help me get it sorted out without a ton of back and forth, which I appreciated

I just needed a couple small pieces of aluminum for a home project, not a whole sheet like some places seem to expect you to buy. onlinemetals made it easy to choose the exact size I needed, and checkout was straightforward. Shipping wasn’t too bad, and everything showed up packed well. it’s a really handy option when you only need a small quantity.

I ordered a few aluminum pieces cut to size, and it saved me a lot of time, a lot of time. The measurements were close enough for what I needed, and checkout was simple and quick. One piece did have a small rough edge, but it was nothing I couldn’t clean up myself. Overall, good experience and I’d use them again

The package showed up with no dents or damage, so that was a relief. I was kind of expecting at least a little scuffing, and the box didn’t look super impressive, but everything inside was totally fine. Nothing exciting to complain about, but also nothing really blew me away. Overall, all good

I ordered some aluminum bar and needed the material certs for a job record, which is usually the kind of thing that turns into a hassle. I was expecting to have to email someone or chase it down after the fact, but OnlineMetals had the cert option right there when I ordered. It actually came through with the order like it was supposed to, which was a relief. Simple overall, and it saved me some time. I’d use them again when I need paperwork included with the metal.
